Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking someone who has a strong track record of coaching and influencing others to work on one of the world’s most successful fundraising campaigns – Relay For Life while supporting the broader fundraising team & contributing to Cancer Council’s campaigns and events.

The key to success in Relay For Life is the engagement of our dedicated volunteer committees. Your role, in partnership with them will be to deliver highly successful fundraising events across the state. Your key deliverables will be effective committee member recruitment and training, as well mentoring and inspiring these key stakeholders to build self-sustainable committees, and thereby achieve set fundraising and event participation goals.
As a member of the fundraising team the Relationship Officer will also contribute to our shared team targets by supporting Cancer’s Council SA’s campaigns and events as required.
We are looking for an experienced stakeholder manager, excellent communicator and committed team player.

In getting to know and supporting over eight volunteer committees across the state, you’ll get to travel to and experience some amazing places and people. Naturally to achieve this level of engagement with our committees, frequent intrastate travel is a key part of this role.
